For all you bloggers looking for a place to dance in Jacksonville or wanting to review the clubs here, this site is for you! The top country western dance clubs in Jacksonville, Florida are the Crazy Horse at Bourbon Street Station, Crazy Horse in Orange Park and Maverick's at the Jacksonville Landing.
The Crazy Horse in Orange Park has been around the longest and is personally my favorite. DJ Yvonne plays great dance music for both line dancers and couple dancing and does a great job of mixing the dance classes so they are interesting for both the new and more advanced students. Couples dance is taught on Wednesdays and line dancing is on Friday evenings.
The Crazy Horse at Bourbon Street Station is larger than the Crazy Horse in Orange Park. It also has both couples and line dance classes. I have only been a few times but in my experience the line dance classes are much faster paced but it is still a fun place to go.
Maverick's at the landing is the newest country club in Jacksonville. It took over the old Club Paris space at the Landing. They host a good ladies night on Thursday evenings and there is never a cover charge before 10 PM on any night. The dance floor here is not nearly as large as the Crazy Horse but they do have a mechanical bull and it is still a great place to mingle and dance. The Landing provides a nice backdrop and provides lots of places to dine before you go to the club.
All three are great places to go dancing and hang out with friends. If you like country western dancing and want to have fun, you should definitely check them out!
